This summer, Orbis has prepared edutaining and meaningful activities for your weekends. We invite you to join in on the fun!Photo Album
Orbis Floral Workshop took place on April 17. Nearly 30 parent-child pairs and 60 individual participants joined us and created their own enchanting micro forest. Orbis was happy to meet the donors and thanked them for their continued support!
December 12, 2015 saw us host our first-ever 3D Christmas Bazaar. Held in a suitably joyful atmosphere, the event succeeded in attracting numerous supporters to come along and purchase rare, out-of-print Orbis products and other collectibles.
Ever wished you could blast off into space and light up the night sky? Themed as ‘sparkling space’, Orbis Carnivals were held in Park Central, Plaza Hollywood, Sunshine City Plaza, and Citywalk on three weekends in June and September. More than 400 new donors pledged to join our monthly donation program!
For the first time, Orbis invited ALL donors, not only parents and children, to join Kids Sight Summer See-n-Feel Tour. A group of 20 donors from Hong Kong and Macau joined Orbis on a five-day-four-night sight-saving trip to Mongolia. Everyone returned home cherishing the value of vision even more, with continued support to Orbis’s fight against childhood blindness.
Orbis "Kids Sight Friends" Floral Art Workshop met our donors again on March 15, 2014. Not only parent-child pairs, individual grown-ups also came to enjoy "quality time" of floral art. All adults and children were surprisingly talented and concentrated in creating their own vibrant floral arrangements. With the support of Kids Sight Friends like themselves, hope even more blind youngsters' lives will blossom like their flowers! Thanks again all donors for joining us on the fun-filled meaningful afternoon. Be our "Kids Sight Friends" and join us in our other upcoming fun-filled meaningful Kids Sight Friends activities!
Special thanks: Flower sponsor FarEastFlora.com Limited, volunteer florists Sarah of Lily Sarah, Margaret, Winnie & Mary.
This summer, Orbis Parent-child See-n-Feel Tour will take adult and kid attendees to Gansu, China to gain unique first-hand insights into our local sight-seeing programs' many achievements. In addition to observing hospital-based projects, participants will also meet Orbis-trained ophthalmologists and even witness life-transforming surgeries. While visiting visually-impaired children's homes in remote areas, everyone will also begin to gain a deeper understanding of the value of love and care by seeing the hardships blind youngsters must face each day. We now invite you and your kids to participate this meaningful sight-saving journey.
